Three skincare favourites.

I never really speak about beauty and skincare on here, which is funny because they are two of my biggest interests. I guess I always wanted to keep the content of my blog appealing to everyone and was a bit worried that these two topics are too tailored to a specific audience.

Either way, I figured, since I am all about skincare and makeup and trying new products, I would inject some more of that in here every now and again. Starting with three of my skincare favourites which I haven’t switched up in months.

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Makeup Remover – £10

Nothing gets my waterproof eye makeup removed like this one. Pop it onto a cotton pad, gently swish it over your eyes and your eyeshadow will be removed immediately. I use one cotton pad per eye and it breaks my mascara down with ease and without me having to rub too hard.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter – £10

I used to use their Camomile Cleansing Oil as I didn’t like the idea of sticking my fingers into a solid butter but oh, I was wrong. It is a solid yet creamy consistency but once you rubbed it between your hands and onto your dry skin, it becomes a lovely oily but not greasy texture. It dissolves my makeup beautifully and gets rid of the last bits of mascara.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment – £34 for 25g (smaller size available)

Let me tell you a little story about my undereye area. It is the driest part of my skin and I have always struggled with creasing concealer and flaky powder. No makeup would settle properly and every product would always creep into wrinkles and cracks. I tried every eyecream under the sun – or so it felt, anyway – but nothing would work. This, however, made the biggest change. I use it twice a day, a bit more in the evening than in the morning, and my undereye area has never been more hydrated, moisturised and soft. I absolutely love it and have repurchased the small size so often that I’ve now moved on to the bigger jar. This lasts for a really long time, too, so it’s really worth the money.

What are your skincare staples? I think I might feature some of my favourites in beauty, skincare and haircare more often from now on!

’til then x
