On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me…
Five gold rings
I briefly mentioned it in this post already, but I really do think that jewellery is one of the best gifts to give – not just for women. Most of the jewellery pieces I wear were either given to me or I bought them in a special place, which is why they are so dear to my heart.
As you will see, most of the pieces I chose are silver, as this is my preferred type of jewellery. However, my main aim was to give you an idea of the pieces the respective brands offer, and if you liked what you saw, you could have a browse yourself.
Swarovski was the first jewellery shop whose window displays had me captivated. Their pieces are timeless and elegant, yet not too on the pricey side, and would make beautiful presents for friends, partners, parents and grandparents alike.
The Great Frog
Something for the more edgy people in your life: The Great Frog stands for unique designs and handmade quality. Their rings are their signature pieces and take a good few weeks to make as they are tailored to fit your finger perfectly. This is also a good address for the guys in your life.
I can’t remember how I found this gorgeous online shop but their dainty jewellery is beautiful for those who like to layer. I own one of their rings, which even after two+ years still looks as good as new, and it’s so easy to combine with my ever-growing ring collection. Since making this post, there are a good few other pieces which have made it on to my personal Christmas list!
I’d heard of Orelia before but it wasn’t until I read Chloe’s jewellery lookbook post that I really started to pay attention to this gorgeous brand. Their pieces are dainty and simple, perfect for stacking and layering. I’ve got my eyes on the silver huggie hoops and the lightning bold ones.
Over three years ago now, I won Hannah Gale’s birthday giveaway (one of my proudest moments to date). One of the pieces in the gorgeous parcel she sent me was a Daniel Wellington watch – I know, right? I have been wearing it almost every day since and it hardly looks worn at all, which speaks for itself, doesn’t it? DW now do beautiful cuffs and bracelets to go along with their watches, which I think would make the perfect present for the ladies in your life.
